Growing up in Brazil, I worked alongside the BEST trainers and studied under incredible educators for physical education. In a few short years, I was one of the busiest trainers in my city, working 1-on-1 with all kinds of people and body types.

I immigrated to Canada in 2008 and began working for big box gyms. The scene was completely different. Personal training in these gyms wasn't about helping your clients the become the strongest they can be.  It was about sales, cut-throat sales and questionable protocol.

Working in these gyms, the goal was hitting sales targets and rewarding the trainers with gifts to encourage more selling. They never asked how any of my clients were doing.

I left after 3 years to chase my own dream of really helping people.  I became the owner of a group training 3 years ago and haven't looked back since.
I saw that people were following exercise and nutrition advice from an app or did casual, off-an-on training in a gym. 
Part-time commitment leads only to part-time results.  

I committed myself full-time to helping people realize that exercising can be fun and almost...effortless.

What makes a trainer uniquely different than the next, is learning how to adapt an exercise to fit that person's unique ability to do it.
